MonRipoz શા માટે?

મારા ઘણા મિત્રો ને નવાઈ લાગશે કે આ કેવું નામ છે? એનો મતલબ શું છે? સાચું કહું તો આ શબ્દ નો કોઈ અર્થ નથી

આ જોડણી સાથે તો ગુગલ માં તો નથી મળતો ….

પણ ફ્રેંચ માં એક શબ્દ છે અને એ છે ‘Mon repos’ અને એનો મતલબ છે ‘મારી આરામ કરવાની જગ્યા’ , મસ્ત નામ છે ને બાકી!!!, તો પછી Mon Ripoz શા માટે? Mon Repos કેમ નહિ? વાત જાણે એમ છે કે મેં ઘણા સમય પહેલા એક નોવેલ વાંચી હતી જેનું નામ હતું ‘આખેટ’ લેખક અશ્વિની ભટ્ટ, આ નોવેલમાં વસંત ગાવરકર નામનું એક પાત્ર આવે છે અને તેને એક બંગલો કે ફાર્મહાઉસ હોય છે જેનું નામ Mon repos હોય છે. પણ નોવેલમા  તે આ રીતે લખેલું હોય છે ‘મોન રીપોઝ’.  તે વખતે તો મને તેનો મતલબ પણ ખબર નહોતો પણ મને આ નામ ગમી ગયું, બસ એમ અમસ્તું જ !! ઘણી વખત કોઈ વસ્તુ ગમવા માટે તમારે કોઈ ખાસ કારણ ની જરૂર નથી હોતી બસ તમને ગમી જાય છે…. અને મેં તે યાદ રાખી લીધુ Mon Ripoz

અને આ રહ્યો મારો બ્લોગ જેની શરૂવાત જ ખોટી જોડણી થી થઇ છે Mon Ripoz ….. ‘મારી આરામ કરવાની જગ્યા’……..

Why MonRepoz ?

 

Many of my friends will wonder why I choose this name and whats its mean? to be very frank there is no meaning for this word at least Google cant make it !

well there is a word in french and its ‘Mon repos’  and its meaning in English is ‘my place for rest’ isn’t its a good word!…. Then why monrepoz instead of mon repos ?… ok the story behind this word is, I read this word in a Gujarati novel and its written like this ‘મોન રીપોઝ’ and novel name is Aakhet and its written by Ashwini bhatt. where a Vasant Gavarkar ( a character in this novel) have a bungalow or farmhouse and its name is mon repos but i read it mon ripoz because its written in Gujarati…that time even i wasn’t aware of its meaning i just like this name. that’s it !! ….sometime u don’t need anything special to like something ..u just like it ..so do I…. and i memorized it MonRipoz ….
